Tina Leslie has been selected to play for England Rugby London and South East U15 this Sunday at Birmingham Exiles RFC, Old Damson Lane, Solihull, West Midlands, B92 9ED
She gave up 3 disciplines in dance to play rugby with the U10s. This was a sport which we didn't think Tina would continue with but as her confidence grew so did her love for the sport.
After playing with the boys up to U12s, Tina went on to play girls rugby for the U13s for one season, then went on to the U15s. She played for Essex County last season and this season and is developing into a confident player who moves around the pitch and is able to play anywhere in the front row but also has been playing flanker this season.
On 29th January, Tina got invited to trial for the England SE U15 Junior Academy and has been successful in being selected in to the England South East U15 Junior Academy programme.
