Essex U18s played their first County match against Buckinghamshire on 29 October at Aylesbury Rugby Club in a record breaking victory, scoring 76-25. So many of the girls came up from the U15s and looked perfectly at home in the U18 set up. One of the most impressive things was how they all kept to a game structure and took Buckinghamshire apart.

At half time the score was 59-10 and Buckinghamshire conceded the match to Essex due to injury but Essex lent Buckinghamshire players so the match could be played on.
