Again not too much to say except that Rochford worked hard and could have been rewarded with more points if they had been better at finishing off some good build up play.
Having said that, Ruislip were in no mood to let this crucial match slip away from them once they had forged ahead early on. They were the better team on the day and deserved their win together with a bonus point.
Although starting well and taking the lead from a Dylan Boxtel penalty Rochford then allowed Ruislip to score three tries and a penalty before full back Marcus Spremulli finished off a good period of Rochford play to score in the corner.
The home team finished off the first half with a converted try to turn round 29 – 8 at the break.
Another converted try early in the second session rubbed salt into the wound and the game continued with both Ruislip and Rochford fighting it out for possession with the home side coming off stronger.
A good piece of fierce running by centre Gavin Tusini saw him drive over for a try which Boxtel converted but it was too little to late and a finishing sixth try by the home side emphasised just that.
