Medway vs. Rochford U7s, Westcliff Festival 11 April 2010

Medway were another unknown for Rochford and although we made a good start with Tags for most of our players, we could not stop Medway going immediately 2 up. Good interplay between Edward and Ben set Milo up for a nice try in response but Medway came back again even stronger despite an important tag by Finlay. At half time this was looking like a tough one.

During the break Steve talked about running straight and to keep passing and the players responded to this. Despite further impressive tries from Medway, Rochford played some wonderful rugby by passing the ball between all team members and this resulted in tries for Ben, Milo and Zach. Final score 7-4 but Rochford matched Medway try for try in the second half.
