Braintree vs. Rochford U7s, 26th September 2010

We had a strong team of 11 players. Alex Rignall, Charlie Johnson, Dylan Lewzey, George Barber, Grace Blyth, Harry Golbourn, Joe Maxwell, Joseph Dowler, Liam Patient, Luke Stubbins and Oliver Church.

The first game started slow for Rochford as Braintree took an early 2 try lead by using their faster players. However, from two good passes by Liam and Charlie the ball ended up with Ollie Church who made a great individual effort from halfway to score what would become Rochford’s only try of that game, even though Ollie did have a great try disallowed in the corner in the second half for diving. The game eventually finished 5 tries to 1 to Braintree.
