Rochford U7s vs. South Woodham Ferrers, 6 February 2011

Rochford under 7’s had not played at home for a while and had a point to prove it was also Gary’s son Georges old team so the heat was on!

Woodham started and opened the score line, Oliver replied to equal the score and then Dynamo Dylan scored 2 great try’s back to back that left Woodham deflated,Woodham did pull one back but it didn’t stop Rochford in there stride and George scored an Epic try against his old club (YEAH!).

Soon after Oliver scored a signature try that left Woodham at half time battered 5-2, in the interval Sean came off in place of young Jo (Scoops son), this proved to be the right move to make by Coach Gary when Jo scored almost instantly!

Luke looked like a new man as he steamed through the Woodham boys and laid a great ball on for Liam who ploughed through a field of Woodham boys making the score a whopping 7-2. Woodham did score a good try after that but they were already beaten! There was a great unity about Rochford at this point and more try’s flowed, 2 more coming from Dylan and one each for Oliver and Luke.
