Rochford U7 vs. Wanstead, 13 March 2011

Wanstead again opened the score line 1-0 and again Oliver replied but then followed it up with another with help from Luke, Dylan and George switching through Wanstead’s defence 2-1. Kyle then got himself on the score sheet by scoring a superb try helped on with some precision passing by Bradley and Joe 3- 1. Our
team were now in the zone and all played a part in setting up Oliver who got another and the half ended Rochford 4 Wanstead 1.

Rochford came out after the break all fired up! Oliver soon made it 5-1 with a great run that was set up by Liam, George and Dylan. This boosted Rochford’s hopes. The team were by now punishing Wanstead and after some super tagging from George and Bradley we got the ball back and Oliver scored another 6-1. Wanstead did manage to get one more by scoring a fantastic try from one of our players who was on loan to them (Speedy) 6-2. By now Oliver was tearing Wanstead apart and got another great try 7-2. Liam finished them off by surging straight through the middle of their defence ending the game a modest 8-2 win for Rochford.
