Rochford U7s vs. Medway, 10th October 2010, Upminster Festival Plate Final

Rochford found themselves evenly matched. What a tremendous game with everyone holding their breath as each try was made. Well done to Ollie with finding space allowing tries to be made. Every team member played hard and worked as a team. This game was fast paced and exciting. Medway scored their third try and nearing the end of the game we wondered if Rochford would be able to pull something lout the bag to enable us to be within a shot of glory and so they did with straight running strong passing and great support allowing Ollie to make the final try of the day.

With a draw the deciding vote on over all winners came in the form of try difference which saw Rochford take victory and the Plate home.

Under 7’s first festival and having played only one match previously this truly a great feat. Well done to everyone
who took part, players, opponents, coaches, ref’s, linesman and of course parents.
