South Woodham Ferrers vs. Rochford U7, Essex Cup, 6 March 2011

Rochford needed nothing but a win to top their group and progress on to the winners Semi Final. The first half see Oliver bag a couple of try’s along with Liam getting himself on the score sheet again. Half time Rochford 3 Woodham 0.

After the break Adam came on in place of Joe. Woodham did get themselves back in the game and scored 2 good try’s. But Liam who was by now on fire scored 2 superb try’s back to back again ending the game Rochford 5 Woodham 2.

This was great news for our young men! Topping our group meant we didn’t have to face Upminster in the Semi Final Phew! We didn’t fancy facing Upminster having lost to their A team in one of our previous matches a couple of weeks ago and also Gary doesn’t see eye to eye with their Coach!
