Rochford U7 vs. Eton Manor, Essex Cup Semi Final, 6 March 2011

Rochford were still consist ant and played well, Oliver bagging 2 try’s in the first half against Eton’s 1. Half time Rochford 2 Eton 1. After the interval Joe Cooper came on in place of George. George was having trouble with his fitness levels having suffered an illness during the week before the Cup and was actually hospitalized. So just having him there was a miracle. The team were doing well and Oliver scored another 2 try’s. Oliver was also having trouble with his fitness levels having himself suffered an illness in the week and only decided to play the night before the cup so having him there was also a bonus. Eton got one back just before speedy Joe scored a superb try putting the game out of Etons reach and the game ending with a Triumphant win for Rochford!

Although Rochford made this game look easy lets not forget Eton were a good team topping their group and also beating Upminster. Final score Rochford 5 Eton 2. We were in the Final - the Final of the Essex cup!.
