Woodford vs. Rochford U7s, 27th November 2011

George made a good run, then passed back to Harry .P who scored the first try for Rochford. Next followed some great defence from Oliver.T, Harry.P, Joe and Toby, before Woodford made a forward pass.

With Rochford now in possession, Oliver.T passed to Jamie, then onto Joe for Rochford’s second.

After a tag from Joe, Woodford lost the ball on their next run. Harry.P then passed to Adam, then Joe, Harry.P and Oliver.T before Rochford dropped the ball, pushing it forward. Despite tags from Joe, Adam and Harry.P, Woodford made it to the try line for their first of the game.

After half time, Woodford immediately scored with a run from the halfway line, putting the home side even. After a pass from Adam, Joe again put Rochford ahead, but his tag on the next run could not stop Woodford equalizing again.

On the next play, Toby passed to George, then on to Jamie who made a super run and scored Rochford’s fourth.

Woodford then made a good run, but after a tag from Joe, they dropped the ball. Joe seized the opportunity, picked up the ball and scored his third of the game.

In the last play, after fantastic tagging from Joe and George, Woodford made it through to score their fourth.
