Basildon vs. Rochford Under 7s, 23 October 2011

Joe made a great run and scored Rochford’s first try of the game. Basildon lost the ball to a forward pass which saw Harry pass to Oliver.P who ran for the try line and scored a second. After a tag from Joe, Basildon made a great run and made it 2-1.

Oliver.P passed to Lewis who after being tagged passed onto Joe who again scored for Rochford. Lewis then intercepted a Basildon pass and passed to Joe who again made it to the try line.

After great tagging from Joe and Lewis, it was a Rochford ball with George passing to Oliver.P, then onto Joe and Lewis.

Basildon started the second half and their player was immediately tagged by Lewis. After winning the ball, Toby passed to Jamie who ran straight through the defence and scored for Rochford. Basildon lost the ball, which led to a pass from Joe to Oliver.T, who made a great run and scored another one for Rochford.

After some scrappy playing from both sides, Basildon broke through again to score their second of the game, which was immediately met with a brilliant run and try from Adam. With a flurry of tagging from Joe, Basildon lost the ball, leaving Oliver.T to pass to George, then onto Joe for another try. After more tags from Lewis and Joe, time was called at the end of the second game.
