Rochford U12 vs Woodford, Essex Cup, Bowl Final, 20 March 2011

This was a team we had not beaten before so we knew we were in for a hard match. Harry Oldacre was unlucky not to have opened up the scoring, going over the line but Woodford held the ball up. Harry Mimms used his power from a line out to score. Jake soon followed with a score from some great passing from the backs. After half time woodford came out and applied a lot of pressure, again we opened them up, by passing the ball accurately and moving it around the pitch. Woodford managed to get a try back. Matt fitz worked hard setting the ball up well from the scrum. In the dying minutes Ewan put in a try saving tackle with Jake holding the ball up.
