Rochford U12 vs. Wanstead, Upminster Festival, 27 March 2011

We have beaten Wanstead twice already this season so were confident we could do it again. However, Wanstead were not going to roll over and they put up a good fight. Another great run from full back, Matt Dobson, lead to Jake nearly going over. Tom Child then wove his way through the defence to open the scoring.

Another series of passes to get the ball to Michael saw him score the second. Matt Dobson make a couple of crunching tackles to stop Wanstead getting near our line. Another surging run forward saw Harry Gibson off load to Jake who then passed out to Tom Child for our third. A much tighter game but our defensive line was still unbroken. Things were still going well!
