Rochford U12s vs. Stanford le Hope, 6th November 2011

After some fast passing Lewis makes a good run and gets the ball down for Rochford to open the scoring. The subsequent conversion is missed.
Stanford reply by scoring the next try, but again the kicking is wayward.
Rochford enter a dominant phase with some great tackling and rucking putting the pressure back on Stanford.

After Stanford are penalised for an offside at the scrum Rochford move the ball quickly for Ray to score. Louis gets the conversion with the score at 12-5.

Both sides are playing with commitment and spirit but Stanford come back to score next, but miss the conversion again. The score is now 12-10.
Rochford are playing good rugby, moving the ball well between the backs, and making great tackles. The determination is paying off with Rochford scoring and converting again to bring the tally to 19-10.

Just before half-time Stanford get a late try in the corner after winning a line out. Half time score is 19-17 to Rochford.
The second half begins with Stanford exerting pressure on the Rochford defence scoring an early try, and missing the conversion. Stanford now lead 22-19.

This is turning into an epic game with every Rochford player digging deep and playing with enormous commitment and determination.
Rochford go on the attack with some good interlinking passing and Ryan powering down the wing to score. Louis gets the conversion with Rochford back in front at 26-22.

Rochford finish the game strongly with Ryan making a great run and getting the ball down for the final try of the game. Louis converts to leave the final score at 33-22 to Rochford.

This was a fantastic Rochford team performance with every player contributing to an excellent win against well organised and strong opponents.
