Southend vs. Rochford U12s, 13th November 2011

The game begins quickly with Southend catching Rochford cold and scoring in the opening minute.

Despite Rochford asserting themselves in the scrum, Southend are dominating possession and score several tries after exploiting gaps in the Rochford defence.

A lack of passing play and some indifferent tackling give Southend the advantage and they score several times to bring the score to 35-0 at half time.

The second half starts with Southend scoring another quick try, but Rochford are beginning to move the ball out better.

Rochford are steadily gaining more possession as the half goes on, but Southend continue to exploit gaps in the defence and score several more tries.

After a period of better Rochford play Sarah J gets a consolation try after breaking through the Southend line (Sarah J also gets a complimentary mention in the Southend match report). The game finishes 45-5 to Southend.
