Burnham vs. Rochford Under 9s, 18th October 2009

Textbook tackling, good running into space, and good mauling, meant they we saw an awful lot of the ball, and only good covering from Burnham kept the score down. Burnham were rarely able to get out of their own half, and only occasionally threatened our try line, due to the persistent pressure they were put under.

Chris Hastings again opened the scoring with an excellent effort running from the halfway line. James Berry then scored down the blindside from a scrum, and further tries from James Berry, Nicholas, and Angus (guest player from Burnham) completed a 5-0 comprehensive win.
