Rochford U9s vs. Harlow, Braintree Festival 18 April 2010

A much better performance in this game particularly defensively, with some fantastic tackling and mauling stopping Harlow on a couple of occasions when they looked certain to score. One tackle from Chris, where he tackled and held a player upright right on the line, and then later from James grabbing and pushing his opponent back from the try line to 5 yards away, were particularly noteworthy.

Rochford also made some good chances, with Harlow also managing to save the day right on their own try line. This was a really exciting game (even the ref commented as such), but one where defences won out over attacks. The first 0-0 game of rugby I've ever been involved with!
