Braintree vs. Rochford U9s, 26th September 2010

We had a blistering start with Fraser going on a great mazey run with a try scored at the end. Blake and Ricardo both picked up injuries during the game but battled on. Tackling was better in this game and we showed some great defending when Braintree had a penalty close to our try line. Louis went over for a second try but the fresh legs of the Braintree team started to tell on our team. They came out winners on the second game.

Encouraging words from the ref at full time was pleasing to hear. All in all considering this was our first contact game we did ourselves proud. We just need to think about a few things such as passing and positioning.
