Maldon vs. Rochford U9, Essex Cup, 6 March 2011

Second up for us were the eventual group winners Maldon. We didn’t start well and found ourselves down by 3 tries before we had even got going. We rallied a bit for the rest of the half and only went into half time 3 down.

Second half started and again we weren’t switched on and let Maldon run through us, our tackle’s let us down. Maldon were a good team but we did make it easy for them. The heads went down a bit in the second half and Maldon ended up running in 4 more tries.
