Rochford U9 vs. Romford, Essex Cup Vase Semi Final, 6 March 2011

I think we were getting a bit tired now after a long day. We switched off a bit and allowed Romford to dominate the play. Although we did defend well we didn’t take advantage of the few chances we had. Romford scored 2 tries in the first half and a further 2 in the second. We did however manage to have a great passage of play where we ran and passed down the line which was fantastic to watch from the sidelines!!

Summary

On the whole we played some really good rugby over the games but a lot of the time we are our own worst enemies by making little mistakes and letting in the other team. We need to take our Saturday training play where we use the space, pass the ball and tackle into the games and we will be a force to be reckoned with Well done all, you should be proud of yourselves.
