Westcliff vs. Rochford U8s, 6th December 2009

Enthusiasm from just half the team on this third match showed during play. Westcliff came back and showed us how good they really are making some terrific passes and at times feeling as though they were playing with us. We did make some good passes but forgetting spacing allowed Westcliff to run straight through and get try after try, Half-time 6-3.

Pep talk at half time spurred the boys on Matthew made some great tags and after much effort Jamie got the ball and made a fantastic run to get our seventh try. Our re-start line was near perfect with the boys using pace to get back and spacing.

General Overview.

Rochford need to:
• Need to find space and look for players in space.
• Run forward and pass the ball more.
• Stop fighting for the ball – you are on the same side.
