Rochford U8s vs. Thurrock B, 6 February 2011

Undeterred by an early Thurrock try, Rochford attacked and were rewarded with a Dalton try. Max came on for Toby and got quickly stuck in making some good tags. Under pressure from Thurrock Rochford defended well, with Tommy, Harry and Kai all making “last minute” tags. Thurrock did manage a couple of tries, but Rochford hit back early in the second half with “Little Man” aka Kyle scoring a well deserved try.

Full time brought an end to a well played and good natured match, with the squad tired but excited about the day’s matches. Special mention should be made of Harry and Kyle who stepped in and played for Ilford to bring their squad up to the required number.
