Wanstead vs. Rochford, 2nd October 2011

Excellent tagging by Rochford kept their attack at bay for a while, but they were fast and got through to score. We responded with some good running by James, passing to Luke, supported by Harry who went on to score our 2nd. Then excellent running by Joe Maxwell form the half way line, living up to his nickname (Speedy), scored our third.

At half time we held them 2-3. The heat was on and Wanstead with good passing and running scored a third. A good accurate pass by Dylan gave Liam a run form half way to score our 4th. In the latter part of the game Rochford got 7 tags twice – great tagging from all players to secure the turnovers and with quick play Joe Maxwell with fantastic support from Dylan gave us the 5th.

With all boys playing really well and acting on the defensive training over the past few weeks we had 3 fantastic wins!
