I would like to thank all the volunteers who have stepped up to help. It is great seeing so many supporters on the pitch helping the children. At this age, they are prone to losing concentration very quickly so the more enthusiastic parents on the pitch, corralling the little ones, the better!

We really do appreciate any help you can offer, including tasks off the pitch. So if you don’t feel like getting your studs on and running around on a Saturday morning and perhaps baking cakes, selling raffle tickets in the clubhouse or admin is more your thing, then let me know.

This week we also had Ferret and Tommo helping us, who are U16s players. They have been helping out the U10s for three years and not only are great rugby players themselves, but are so enthusiastic in training the younger children. They don’t need to turn up every Saturday morning and yet they do, every week, without fail. They are a credit to their families and their teams.
