U14's First run out for the 15/16 season

Terrific start to the season for our boys, comfortable win over South Woodham. We played 4 quarters, against a mixed U13/14 squad, and in the first quarter were completely dominant, with some brilliant, sweeping passing and three tries, the first following a superb run by Alex F, beautifully set up by James C, and converted by Jack, then two more from Alex S and Marley. Excellent debut from from Charlie G, his handing off was fierce :)

The second quarter was quieter for our boys, but some excellent play from Jack, Henry, Ricky, Marley and Harvey kept the pressure up. In the third we woke up again, with excellent tries from Luke and Ricky, the second set up well by Jack.

In the final quarter, SWF provided good pressure, sneaking in a try, leaving the final score at 5-27.

More stand out players were James C, James A and Harvey, and it seems like every player is on form - well done all of you!
