Upminster vs. Rochford U10, 20 February 2011

For a change Rochford started quickly and straight away scored with a super amazing run from Corey, touching down in the Upminster corner.

Our rucks and mauls were working well, but we could not break the try line, with only a couple of close calls being given in favour of the home side, which stopped the score being increased.

The rest of the half was a mid-field battle and both teams worked hard to stop each other.

The second half of the match saw much of the same, but with improved scrums we were holding them and even won a few.

With the game coming to an end, and the play from both teams scrappy, Rochford took advantage and worked the ball out wide to Jack, who ran the ball home over Upminster’s try line.

Final whistle, match won!

After a slow start in Match 1, the team focused and moved forward together and truly earned their win in Match 2.
