I think the boys must have been tired after their exertions against Harlow, because this was a similar performance to that against Braintree.
When we played Westcliff earlier in the season we had two very close games, but this was quite one-sided. Once again our lack of rucking meant that we lost turnovers, and although our tackling was usually good, once again there were gaps in our line which Westcliff found quite easily.
Although there were a number of good attacking runs, particularly from Nick Campen and also Conner Jones and Jack Chandler, our lack of presence at the tackle meant that we never capitalised, so never really got near their try line.
