Romford vs. Rochford U8s, 22nd January 2012

Fen is one to look out for, having only been at Rochford for a short time and already as good as the rest of the team - all he can do is get better! Speedy made a sublime run down the line and Sam smashed one home in style. Sparky scored a superb try after some well worked rugby from all the team and after Joe had laid him on. Dynamo, who had already proved he was in good form, took another home and the half ended 5-4 to Rochford!

After the break, Gary brought on George and Liam for Sparky and Dynamo. We don't know what Gary said to Harry at half time but whatever it was - it did the trick - as we saw Harry take two tries home back-to-back. Harry was unstoppable, Speedy knotched up his second of the match with a spendid solo effort and George scored a wicked try that was laid on to him by Harry! Roch then tagged Romford out which is always great to witness as it shows a great unity in the squad. Fen sealed the half off with a superb try and the game ended 10-8 win for Roch!
